Reducing risk of battery failure

An EV’s battery failure can be extremely costly because it accounts for a large proportion of a vehicle’s production cost.

Optimizing performance via remote monitoring


The remote monitoring of 400+ signals (including battery pack temperatures, currents and State of Charge (SoC)) from the Battery Management System (BMS), as well as parameters from across the Vehicle Network, supports the near real-time analysis of the battery packs and propulsion system to optimise fleet charging, reduce vehicle downtime and improve battery life.

Additionally, by storing all battery historical operational data in the cloud, it simplifies compliance and reduces cost for insurance and warranty cases.

Speeding up time to market

The centralised storage, visualisation and analysis of pre-production fleet trails, whether for durability, quality or climate testing, helps to isolate, identify and diagnose faults at scale, thereby drastically reducing development time and minimizing time to market.

Key data and fault capture features include standard and proprietary CAN data signal acquisition, high speed CAN traces captured using pre/post triggers on driver demand, fault codes or calculated parameters, as well as higher level protocols (J1939, OBDII, UDS, etc) and Over-the-Air (OTA) diagnostics.


Maintaining fleet compliance

No matter where vehicles are located in the world, Over-the-Air (OTA) updates ensure the entire fleet remains harmonised to a common configuration and data acquisition strategy.

When compared to traditional back-to-base manual re-configuration methods, OTA automated updates offer huge resource, time and cost savings for customers.

The software version control of all vehicle network ECUs also helps to ensure the fleet is compliant to the latest software revisions. New software feature/bug-fix releases are monitored and directly correlated with the number of fault codes generated (DTCs), thereby facilitating a continual improvement process and accelerating the product development lifecycle to minimise time to market.
