Kvaser Flex DB9 is a compact, galvanically isolated CAN/CAN FD transceiver module featuring an integrated active D-SUB9 connector for robust and standards-compliant CAN interfacing. Designed for use with the Kvaser M.2 PCIe xCAN controller card (EAN: 73-30130-01818-1), each module provides one dedicated CAN/CAN FD channel that can be positioned close to the vehicle or industrial CAN wiring for optimal signal integrity. 
 
By moving the transceiver and connector off-board the module minimizes stub length, improves EMC performance by facilitating easier EMC zone boundary management and gives system integrators maximum flexibility in channel placement inside the target system.
 
Modules are sold individually, allowing customers to scale from 1 to 4 CAN channels depending on application requirements.
