The Kvaser Edge WL830S is a rugged, IP67-rated edge computer for CAN data logging and processing.
Powered by a quad-core Cortex-A53 processor with NPU, it combines eight time-synchronized, individually galvanically isolated CAN FD channels with SIC transceivers, dual Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, Wi-Fi 6, 5G/LTE connectivity, Bluetooth 5.3, Multi-GNSS positioning, and digital I/O in a compact platform.
Running the secure and scalable Kvaser Edge OS (KEOS), a Linux-based operating system, the WL830S provides a flexible environment for data logging, processing, and remote applications at the edge.
Within the Kvaser Edge family, the WL830S offers additional CAN FD channels, 5G connectivity, and expanded digital I/O beyond those available on the WL420S.
