Mach Systems introduces a CAN-LIN Gateway ECU

Kvaser partner Mach System’s has a new configurable CAN-LIN gateway ECU with up to two CAN/CAN FD channels, a LIN channel, and several multi-purpose digital/analogue inputs and outputs. The control unit can be used as a stand-alone data converter between a CAN/CAN FD network and LIN bus, or as a remote I/O module to interface sensors and actuators to CAN and LIN systems.

“We saw a gap in the market for an industrial/automotive-grade ECU with CAN-LIN gateway functionality, particularly for demanding environments such as tractors or other machinery. Later this year, the plan is to homologate it in Europe for use in road vehicles.”
