These accessibility settings affect what access other devices on the network will have to the BlackBird. Let’s look at a few of these options.

Public allows the device to be visible to other devices on the network and does not require a password to connect to.

Protected still allows the device to be visible on the network, but requires a password in order to connect.

Private will set the device to be undiscoverable on the network, requiring the user to know its network address, and require a password to connect.

Flash Parameter Password allows you to require a password before the parameters in the flash memory can be read or changed.

The final option we will be reviewing is on the Settings tab labelled Enable Webserver. Activating this feature will enable the BlackBird’s built-in web server and is necessary for using advanced features like the REST API.

Now we can click Apply to save our device settings.
