Futuristic Technology Concept: Autonomous Semi Truck with Cargo Trailer Drives at Night on the Road with Sensors Scanning Surrounding. Special Effects of Self Driving Truck Digitalizing Freeway

Kvaser’s latest software update provides data processing and streaming performance improvements to CanKing 7 (v7.3), especially for high load scenarios. Other notable changes and additions include:

Driver installer now supports ARM architecture
Kvaser Drivers for Windows (in CANlib SDK v5.50.312) provides full ARM support. Previously available as a beta version, the installer includes all previously supported architectures and extends compatibility to ARM-based systems for USB-connected Kvaser interfaces.

ISO 15765 Transport Protocol Support in CANlib v5.50.312
CANlib v5.50.312 now supports ISO 15765, including the Transport Protocol layer. ISO 15765-2 allows segmentation and reassembly of messages up to 4096 bytes or more (standard CAN frames are limited to 8 bytes of data). Protocols like UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services) often need multi-frame communication. This addition enables more advanced diagnostics and communication over CAN, in line with the development of automotive and industrial standards.
