Kvaser has unveiled two exciting new products designed to meet diverse CAN and CAN FD application needs: the Kvaser Leaf v3 CB (01532-6) and the Kvaser Mini PCIe 1xCAN FD over USB (01368-1). Let’s explore how these devices compare and what they offer.

Kvaser Leaf v3 CB

Compact and Versatile
The Kvaser Leaf v3 CB is the circuit board version of the popular Kvaser Leaf v3, designed for single-channel, high-speed USB-to-CAN/CAN FD applications. For customers wishing to replace their Kvaser Leaf Light HS v2 CB (00733-8), the Kvaser Leaf v3 CB is a drop-in replacement that supports CAN FD up to 8 Mbit/s.

Power Meets Efficiency
The Kvaser Mini PCIe 1xCAN FD over USB brings CAN/CAN FD functionality to any standard computer via a Mini PCI Express socket that supports USB 2.0, making it an ideal choice when there are competing peripherals for the PCI Express lane. It is the upgraded successor to the Kvaser Mini PCI Express HS (00688-1).
