Rugged for demanding data acquisition
With an IP67 rating, Kvaser Edge is sealed against dust, resistant to water and proved to withstand extreme temperature changes. Kvaser Edge features individually galvanically isolated CAN-FD channels and a Kvaser CAN-IP implemented in FPGA, providing robust and reliable communication in demanding environments.

Integrated storage, sensors and connectivity

High-capacity storage and flexible USB connectivity
Kvaser Edge comes equipped with 256 GB eMMC storage, reliably handling large-scale data for demanding applications. Store extensive CAN data locally without the need for external systems.
With USB support, you can connect peripherals for external storage and use audio and video devices, enabling you to capture synchronized recordings alongside CAN data for testing, diagnostics and validation.

Advanced sensor integration for system insight
Aside from CAN and USB, Kvaser Edge also features built-in sensors that bring motion, location and external signals together in one platform. Its 6-axis IMU provides precise acceleration, rotation and orientation data for accurate motion analysis, while GPS/GNSS tracks exact position and speed, allowing seamless mapping alongside CAN data. With versatile digital I/O, it easily interfaces with external signals for custom triggers.
