LIN Send and other LIN Views

As with CAN, LIN has several unique views that all work together to provide a complete solution for LIN bus operations.

LIN Send – Used from the master channel, sends header information, which includes LIN identifier, as well as data bytes. Useful for injecting a complete LIN message onto the bus.

LIN Message Update – Allows the user to prep a slave node with a response to a master node request. Select the channel, then set which LIN identifier the node should respond to and the data frame that the node should send in response.

LIN Message Request – Used from master channel. Sends only the header information, which includes the LIN identifier, in order to prompt a response from the corresponding slave node(s).
