KEOS allows you to create your own user environment in a Linux (LXC) container with your preferred Linux distribution and your preferred applications, operating on top of the KEOS operating system.  This means you get a secure and efficient setup that keeps workloads separated, without wasting unnecessary resources. This gives you maximized performance, simplified management and flexible system scaling.

A container image brings together everything you need to create a consistent and dependable user environment on multiple Kvaser Edge devices. Get started quickly with prebuilt images, or customize your own image with your preferred Linux distribution and your selected applications.

Isolated LXC container

Locked-down architecture

There is no user access to KEOS by design. Authorized users can only interact with the dedicated LXC container running in a separate layer above KEOS. This strict lock-down eliminates hidden access paths and prevents unauthorized modification of KEOS – ensuring safe and predictable system behavior of Kvaser Edge.
